This Saturday I will be teaching a workshop at Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild on my favorite subject- Organic Piecing and Quilting.

  10. Hi, Sujata. Really like your quilts--I bet it will be a fun class. I kind of do organic piecing for the backs of my quilts, but I usually try to keep it a bit sedate. But then again they never end up sedate. I especially like the first one and I can't figure out why--it's just overall pleasing!

  12. Sujata - I loved your organic piecing class - it was right up my alley! I finished a table runner top using your gentle curves piecing method. I've always loved re-purposing clothing and the Gees Bend quilts and your method was perfect for that! I'll keep and eye open for other classes taught by you! It was wonderful to meet you yesterday.

    I don't know if I've ever seen the first one, but I love it!!! I love that Caribbean blue with red combination and the log cabin block is eye popping with the yellow - I love this piece!
