No "central" medallion ... use the blocks, but place them off center or in two opposing quadrants of the quilt. Ditto for the strongs, down one side is too predictable ... Maybe half the strings on the right side of one house top block and the rest of the strings on the left side of the other block... gives the eye a touch of companionable symmetry while still being random and playful. Just my thoughts.Quiltdivajuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15593385265961892847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2244865727892186735.post-43734568295127001792011-02-15T08:02:38.246-05:002011-02-15T08:02:38.246-05:00Love this project - I like the first and last phot...Love this project - I like the first and last photo the best - but they all work, depending on your vision.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08619642267222624728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2244865727892186735.post-12785063335836906772011-02-15T02:20:21.649-05:002011-02-15T02:20:21.649-05:00I really kind of liked the strips in the center fo...I really kind of liked the strips in the center for no explainable visual reason...it just looked right...but everybody is right...you can't lose with this one (except not those medallions...the wreck the ripple!!!)xoBonnie Hullhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06409595187789586417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2244865727892186735.post-90875912589523658692011-02-14T17:13:47.535-05:002011-02-14T17:13:47.535-05:00It is growing into a stunning quilt, Sujata.
