DAY 3 Cultural Fusion Quilts Blog Tour

I hope you enjoyed Nifty's post as much as I did. LeeAnn and I have known each other for many years. I was thrilled to have her quilt included in my book. As you all know, she has an amazing eye for colors, textures and patterns. I am thankful for having her as a friend.

Thank you, LeeAnn for contributing to my book.

Today I am going to send you to Victoria Gertenbach's blog, The Silly Boodilly. If I have one word to describe her it would be, Earthy! I love her quilts and her enthusiasm over hand stitching. She finds beauty and inspirations through textures of all things worn and weathered. Those of you who are new, I hope you visit her blog today and take some time to visit both her blogs.

For your inspiration today, I am simply posting a block I recently made.

And one from the quilt Peppermint Pinwheels Quilt from the book.

Did you enter for the mini quilt raffle? Everyone who leaves a comment is eligible to win. Read this post if you missed it. I will choose a winner on Sunday.
