ReplyDeleteTHose are stunning, especially the first one! Sounds like a fun class!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sujata. Really like your quilts--I bet it will be a fun class. I kind of do organic piecing for the backs of my quilts, but I usually try to keep it a bit sedate. But then again they never end up sedate. I especially like the first one and I can't figure out why--it's just overall pleasing!
ReplyDeletebest, nadia
Lucky people in Philadelphia. Hope you become so successful in sharing your ideas that they bring you down to Australia to do a few classes here. Meanwhile please post lots of pictures so I can join in a little.
ReplyDeleteSujata - I loved your organic piecing class - it was right up my alley! I finished a table runner top using your gentle curves piecing method. I've always loved re-purposing clothing and the Gees Bend quilts and your method was perfect for that! I'll keep and eye open for other classes taught by you! It was wonderful to meet you yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your show and tell.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I've ever seen the first one, but I love it!!! I love that Caribbean blue with red combination and the log cabin block is eye popping with the yellow - I love this piece!
