I tried!

I tried to throw away the scraps but failed!

Past couple of weeks I have been working on my Toran quilt but after a whole lot of precise piecing I needed some break.

So cleaning up the mess came next.

What do you do with your basket full of scraps?

  2. That is my favourite kind of quilt for so many reasons. You feel good for tidying up, it's almost free and you have an unique quilt.

  5. The scraps are always my favorite part of the quilting process. These are making a second beautiful quilt! You could almost replicate your photo of the "Blue City" with these.

  11. It's a free quilt and I love how its evolving. My scraps don't even go together because of all the different types of fabrics I use.

  15. Scraps are the best, aren't they ? I try to sort out mine by colours. You created a cheerful and lovely improv' quilt. Red seems to lead the way although... black comes here and there and links all the colours together. I like it.

  22. Make Scrap quilts of course! Crumb blocks, log cabins, wonky stars etc. Great fun being frugal.

    1. Thank you, Linda!

Sometimes the restrictions we create bring out the best on the design wall.
      Besides, why waste?
