The Stack - Cultural Fusion Quilts

They are all here! Stack of quilts, made with free-form traditional blocks.

While I am still getting used to the idea of  the words like author of and my book, it feels great to have all of my quilts back with me. Last two years as I was finishing them, packing and labeling to send them out to C&T Publishing for the pictures, I really did not have any idea on how they all look together.

Stack of quilts with personality of their own! Each one telling a story. They all look pretty happy to me!

It is hard to pick a favorite one but if I had to pick one, I would go back to the roots of them all.

Here is another stack I LOVE!

If you would like to buy it direct from me, click on the link on the sidebar.

Thank you to all of you who read my blogs, those who were involved in making this possible for me. I am feeling the gratitude and love.

This book is just the beginning of my story, my journey as a quilter, it has tied me to my roots all over again. This process has made me stronger and helped me grow beyond what I thought was possible.

  5. The quilts look so wonderful all stacked up. It is scary sending off a bunch of your "babies" to be photographed and not knowing when you will get them back.

  6. I have preordered your book since when you announced it and I am waiting with great agony since then to be able to go through its pages. On Monday I was astonished by a woman in a workshop where I teach in a village in southern Greece who brought to show us a beautiful quilt she made with the improvised method and she said that she saw it in a book she downloaded from Amazon, she could not remember the name of the author but she told me that it had beautiful photos from India so I understood it was your book. I searched in Amazon and I found out that the kindle edition is already out and I got a notification that my copy will arrive just before X'mass -- I am seriously thinking of downloading it as well!

    2. I just saw that you have already signed with your e-mail. Anneli is Finnish married to a Greek pediatrician and living in a magical place in southern Greece with their three children. She has joined our group since last year and although she is new to quilting her work is marvelous. I'm sure she will be happy to send you a photo.
