There is so much packed in it, you really do not want to miss it. It is an honor to be in the same episode as my dear friend Freddy! She shares her philosophy on creating, living, and her beautiful, inspiring home!
I would love to hear what you think of the show.
Have a great weekend!
Sujata
What a wonderful gift that video is, thank you so much. I am so entranced with the Tiklis, fulas and the colorways...I will definitely be trying that method...I have your book and appreciate seeing
ReplyDelete(almost in person ) how you yourself go about the cutting...Much appreciated hugs, Julierose
I loved the show. How do you sew the additional tiny scraps on top of the finished siti quilts? Do you turn the edges uner and then applique? Love that long table runner.
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to the Quilt Show, and I watched it right when it came out because it had you in it! I just love what you shared and seeing your gentle strength once again. I let others know about the free access so they can see what I always am raving about. Just loved it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for making this available. I am registered for the 2nd Siddi class next weekend and can’t wait! It was wonderful to have this preview. Waiting for my message about how to view the class. Lori Richardson
ReplyDeleteHOW exciting - thank you for the link. Looking forward to watching this episode.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful segment. Congratulations! You are doing such interesting work with the Siddi quilts.
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing Freddy. I only met her once, but through Gwen feel as if I know her.
She is such an inspiration and I never tire of seeing her home.
Dear Sujata, thank you for posting this movie. I learned new things about you and about your art. Your art will be my art soon, I hope as you are so generous about sharing. I was thrilled to see Freddie Moran, too. I hope I never forget what you said about life not being perfect yet we still keep going, and we can express that in the way we create. That really touched me. What a boost. Thank you and thanks to Alex and Ricky too. Be well.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your gift! It made my whole weekend brighter! The episode was wonderful, especially since you and Freddy are 2 of my favorite quilters. I have your book and love it, but now I can hardly wait to try the Siddi technique as well.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loved seeing you & hearing the stories behind your stunning quilts. Such an informative and interesting show.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat! I've seen a few episodes of the show in the past and this was by far my favorite one. I've followed your blog for some time and it was sooo nice to "see you in action". You're a true artist and a delightful human, Sujata! I also greatly enjoyed the segment with Freddy Moran. In 2018 our guild had a display of her Matisse inspired face quilts at our bi-annual show, and I had no idea she had only started creating them after graduating from hospice, having decide to LIVE. <3
